Thank you to all who attended our 22nd Annual Christmas Eve Pancake Breakfast!
Actually, this tradition started 25 years ago at our Slaton location as a way of saying “thank you” to the customers and friends who support us throughout the year. We don’t take your loyalty lightly or for granted so it’s important to us to make sure you know how much we appreciate you!
The breakfast now happens at our Levelland location (22 years running), with the full team pitching in from all locations. Our team is growing and I’m not sure how I’ll continue fitting us all in the same end-of-breakfast photo, haha! With all our growth in 2021, this year’s breakfast was exciting with our new additions from Plainview and Quick Lane to help out. Quick Lane took charge of the valet service while the Plainview team lent a hand making pancakes and serving tables.
All four of our locations work together on a daily basis in some capacity, of course. But to see the entire team at once, hustling and bustling to put on this breakfast, was very special to me. It’s a mental picture I’d like to keep throughout the year as I remind myself that Smith Auto Family is one cohesive unit– spread out over the South Plains, but working together to give customers a superior experience. *cue the warm fuzzies*
By our count, it was our biggest breakfast yet, serving around 1150 people! Some of our favorite moments from this year’s breakfast are captured below, including maybe the coolest Santa surprise we’ve ever seen!
